Almost Losing Focus

So everyone that knows me and keeps up with this blog, knows that I am a very determined person when it comes to my business and my kids. I strive for more and will DO what I say.

And I have said it before..... How a woman starts dating a man and begins to lose focus of what her goals were and what mattered to her.

Well, I see how easy it is to get caught up in that "New Moment" feeling.....When you meet someone and you immediately click......You Get along well and there is this "Strong" attraction between the both of you.

Whether it's a subconscious or conscious choice, I am NOT allowing myself to do what every other woman I know has done.... Lose focus of what their goals and dreams were before they met that person.

I'm sure I am among the few.....Most women would be pleased to meet a man of their dreams and live the way they both agree.....But, I am different, and I know it. I am living my way and living for my dreams and hopes that I have. And if I should meet someone that I think I could really care about, well then, he is going to have to accept me, my dreams and goals and not expect me to change.

And when I hit the level of success that I am striving for, then he will be there to greet me with open arms.

I am still keeping focused on what I want.... My dreams.... My goals.....No matter how much I may care about a man.

Just a little personal insight........... LOL.

Cindy,
I just started my bog (www.livingmydreamtoday.com) and I was looking for other articles about people living their dreams. Yours popped up. It's great to see that you want to keep your focus on your dreams and goals (and especially for giving your kids a good life). I'm on the other side - my son is on his own now - and when he graduated from college I realized that he wasn't coming home for good, I asked myself "now what?". One of my main "whys" and purposes was fulfilled. So women must have other goals and dreams (aside from their children and having a loving relationship with a man) to stay vibrant and enjoy their lives and become the grandest vision of themselves. I applaud you for staying the course ... AND you can have both ... especially when you find a partner who understands each person's goals and dreams are just as important as the relationship is and that's what makes the relationship a powerful one. Here's to your great success!

Thank you for your comment. I do appreciate it. You are right, I can have both. Well, I want both...The man of my dreams, my business and my kids. I seem to attract men that expect me to give up on my dremas and goals and focus more on them. Here's to hope, that there is that extraordinary man out there that will accept me as I am. LOL.

Thanks
